Working with R.E.L over the past few years has been an amazing experience. R.E.L worked on my first CD project (entitled "Against All Odds") when I sang with a local gospel group called Eastside. Every time we had an idea song that we presented to Roger, we would do a click track for him in the studio and the next time we met up at the studio, that song would be taken to a whole new dimension of funk that we had no clue what had hit us. We would be geeked to find out what the new song would sound like and he never let us down...pure funk or R&B (whatever we requested.)
That is why I decided to work with R.E.L again for my own solo project. Because I know that the tracks are going to be hot, slammin' and the billions of people on this planet we call earth that hear it are going to love it. NO DOUBT!!!

I have known Roger E. Lear, affectionately known as REL, for twenty plus years and we maintained a wonderful professional relationship. Not only is he an excellent Producer, I often brag about his abilities to get the right mix and sound with the microphone.
Roger plays a mean guitar and piano and is a vocalists dream come true because he listens to the Artist and works to give to you the sound that you are looking for and not what he thinks you should have (this can be hard to find).
Roger Lear is a gifted artist who exudes music. Some of us are “IN MUSIC” and others of us has “MUSIC IN THEM”, Roger is indeed of the later.

Much love for my boy REL, I’ve known this man about fifteen years. Funny how time flies. I remember the first time I heard some of his work, I thought to myself, “how did he get his music to sound so crisp”, I knew I had to work with him, since I was new to Minneapolis and with no connections, Roger was the key!
This brother truly has skills in production. I used to think that in order to get a professional sound you had to have a state of the art studio until I met REL. This man was dropping heat out of a two Bedroom apartment in Crystal, Minnesota. He was doing better than some of the larger studios in my opinion!
That’s why I had no problem paying him for his work. I had the opportunity to work with Roger on four projects. They were all good, especially Spiritual Warfare which is a classic. I can’t deny that God did something special through us on that album.
I can go on for days talking, so allow me to sum this up by saying; as a friend and my producer, Roger always came through.
