The SCR Music Portal Page is now live and takes us one step closer to full realization of the completed SCR Entertainment website. You can see it at SCR-Entertainment.com. This portal gives you direct access to all avenues of contacting and interacting with me and allows quick navigation to the different aspects of my company, services I provide and new expansion sites as they come on line. Two new sites are in development in addition to the SCR site. We are grinding here at SCR Entertainment so while we diligently push through the workload please be patient, you will love the new developments! One of the new sites in development, which is essentially the whole catalog of SCR Entertainment, continues and is progressing nicely. The first 12 SCR releases dating back to 1993 plus all of the new works will be available. At launch we will have nearly 220 tracks with more coming! At the portal page there are links to connect with me on Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. I encourage all of you to connect with me there so we can establish a relationship that allows open communication regularly. If you haven’t taken the time to visit the blog you can see it at Blog.BanginBeatsByREL.com. I blog every week and sometimes daily depending on the power of the urge that says to me, “Share something”. Please visit often and leave comments. Did you check out the SCR Albums page yet? I have selected four albums from the audio vault for your listening pleasure, all with Hip Hop flavor demonstrating what it used to be like, preparing you for the now. Here is a breakdown of the 5 most recent beats added to the site:

Goal setting; thousands of books and millions of articles have been written about the benefits of setting goals. Great achievements are the result of goals established and reached and very few can say that they don’t know about goals and even fewer still, can say they don’t believe goals are important. So why then are there so many that continue to move through life drifting without clearly defined goals? Why are there so many of us who fail repeatedly to achieve that which we say we desire most. Well, many reasons can be cited, however much of the reasoning will come down to this; goals are about change. Change requires work, and effective goal setting requires self examination and decisions, which is work. So, recognizing my own growth and proficiency in the area of goal setting, I can honestly say two things definitely:
I encourage those serious about goal setting to Google the following individuals and investigate their work. I have studied them and read many of the books they have written: ZiZ Ziglar, Stephen Covey, Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, David Allen and Jim Rohn. All of these men are best selling authors and all have achieved great personal success through effective goal setting. In this three-part series on goal setting I will be sharing what I have gleaned from them and what has worked for me. Part 1: The formula All you need before you begin setting goals is to have an understanding about the process of effectively doing so. Effective goal setting involves the following:
The wording may vary but the content is the same; this is the system presented by every goal setting guru. It has been tested and works in the same way an accurate map does; when followed it will get you to your destination every time. Before you make a move, read over and consider the formula. It works the same way for financial, career, physical, or any other area of your life. People interested in achievement will at some point stop drifting and take control of their lives. Effective goal setting will get you anywhere you want to go. Wisdom from the grind: Learn the formula for success and execute. Next week: Part 2: Getting Clarity |

I do not profess to know anything you don’t, I merely offer what I hope will help you remember what you already know. In this way we are both blessed. Adopt a new attitude: Whether it is about what we want, who we are, or what we are doing, striving to clarify our vision of the future will allow us to draw inspiration from it. Develop self-awareness: To begin making better choices and decisions for ourselves, and about ourselves, requires that we learn more about who we are. Improved choices, improves results which also improves our attitude. Attitude is everything. Learn from the past: We must not continue to beat ourselves to death about past mistakes, faults, failures and losses. The greatest opportunity today is the opportunity to begin the process of change. |
