The SCR Music Portal Page is now live and takes us one step closer to full realization of the completed SCR Entertainment website. You can see it at SCR-Entertainment.com. This portal gives you direct access to all avenues of contacting and interacting with me and allows quick navigation to the different aspects of my company, services I provide and new expansion sites as they come on line. Two new sites are in development in addition to the SCR site. We are grinding here at SCR Entertainment so while we diligently push through the workload please be patient, you will love the new developments! One of the new sites in development, which is essentially the whole catalog of SCR Entertainment, continues and is progressing nicely. The first 12 SCR releases dating back to 1993 plus all of the new works will be available. At launch we will have nearly 220 tracks with more coming! At the portal page there are links to connect with me on Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. I encourage all of you to connect with me there so we can establish a relationship that allows open communication regularly. If you haven’t taken the time to visit the blog you can see it at Blog.BanginBeatsByREL.com. I blog every week and sometimes daily depending on the power of the urge that says to me, “Share something”. Please visit often and leave comments. Did you check out the SCR Albums page yet? I have selected four albums from the audio vault for your listening pleasure, all with Hip Hop flavor demonstrating what it used to be like, preparing you for the now. Here is a breakdown of the 5 most recent beats added to the site:

Well here we are in the first month of 2010 and all over the world people are motivated to make positive changes in their lives, careers, finances, relationships, etc. Being a very optimistic brother, I too have and do occasionally get wrapped up in the energy and hype associated with a new year. I have a renewed vigor and willingness to go harder then I ever have and do more than I’ve ever done. For most of us, at some point the process of great achievement slows and then comes to a halt, returning us to the habitual replay of old habits. The calendar changed without my help and time marches forward without any regard for my readiness for the next second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year or decade. All of these moments in time are now different. The time and the calendar continue to change but do I? Do you? Change doesn’t come from thinking about or vividly envisioning or dreaming about it. Thinking can stimulate change motivation, but change happens in the doing; “Action”. Some of us create expectations that don’t reflect any sense of self awareness. Expecting to suddenly change the way we exercise, treat people in our lives, or the way we eat because the calendar has changed from Dec 31st to Jan 1st is like expecting to plant a tree, watch it grow and eat fruit from it all in a single day. Resolutions and goals set with little self-awareness or regard for the principals of natural growth are unrealistic and almost always fail. Effectively setting and achieving goals are of significant importance to the successful unfolding of one’s life. If you want to be successful on purpose then clearly defined and appropriately executed goals will get you to your destination. Thousands of books have been written on goal setting, and the basic principals are all the same. Some writers present the information with more clearly understandable examples than others, but all goal setting processes are designed to help you determine what you want to achieve, why you want to achieve it and to clarify the steps to take for its achievement. Both Stephen R. Covey and Brain Tracy have created excellent goal setting programs, but there are others. If you are an artist, song writer, producer, business owner or a beginner trying to determine direction; in fact, anyone attempting to accomplish something important, you improve your chances of success and shorten the time the achievement will take by setting goals. To that end I will be presenting a three-part series on goal setting because when I help you win, I win as well. I do not profess to know anything you don’t, I merely offer what I hope will help you remember what you already know. In this way we are both blessed. Four actions you can take right now:
