 Just My Thoughts

Roger E LearGreetings to subscribers.

I wanted to write you a brief note to express my appreciation for your continued interest in this newsletter and to say that the newsletter will continue on a weekly basis.

Given the still relative newness of the BanginBeatsByREL.com venture, I am still developing my understanding and executing the new demands of this level of creative output.

The newsletter will resume in its full length next Thursday, July 16 2009. Thank you for your continued support.

 What's New?
Negotiations have begun with Natasha from Canada for custom album production. Will she be the first to record an album with me through BanginBeatsByREL.com? Will she be the first featured artist on the site? Stay tuned.

Have you checked out the REL's Remixes page?

Here is a breakdown of the 5 most recent beats added to the site:
  • Mo Fo U - Other Flavor
  • Jazzy Funk - East Coast
  • In The Hole - Club Flavor
  • West Coast Funk - West Coast
  • Symphony Funk - West Coast
 Other Stuff
We have implemented a pricing change; the new price for beats is now $19.95. I know some of you have taken advantage of this already, but I wanted to remind you of the recent change.

Researching continues to determine how best to provide excellent service and keep on top of the latest trends to ensure we grow and stay relevant.

Halla!

 Featured Project
Beat production for BanginBeatsByREL.com continues to be the priority until the first goal is met: 60 World Class Beats! We now have 27 on the site.

I am making some good progress on my first solo album "Spoken". This album will be a mix of all the musical flavors I love; spoken word, rap, neo-soul and lounge / down tempo tracks.

I'm an artist doing what artists do; creating art. Of course its hip hop, and my hip hop roots will be felt. I've already begun production, so as things develop I will share them with you. I have added three more tracks to the project. The total track number has again changed. At this point I’m considering 15. This will mark album number 13.
 Quote Of The Week
"A man should conceive of a legitimate purpose in his heart, and set out to accomplish it. Even if he fails again and again to accomplish his purpose (as he necessarily must until weakness is overcome), the strength of character gained will be the measure of his true success, and this will form a new starting point for future power and triumph."

- James Allen; 1864 - 1912, English philosophical writer
